Booked the Mercure London Heathrow Hotel for three nights so that we could visit Legoland with our six year old. Found the hotel to fairly good example of the type in terms of its accommodation but with a few pluses too.. First of these is that kids eat for free including evening meal with a good menu selection for them. Second was that the in-house evening meal food was well prepared and also offered a good selection. Third was the staff who were very helpful and one of whom (Irena) who was just super with your six year old.. he was really taken with her.. and so we’re we!

One night stay
We stayed here for one night, just a stopover for a concert in London. Upon arrival, we checked in early, the lady on reception was friendly and said she would try and arrange our room early but we popped back after a drink and the lady saw us waiting in the queue, promptly came over with our key. The room was excellent! Very spacious, extremely clean and more than what we needed as we literally dropped our bags in and left for our concert. Upon return we went straight to our room although it looked like the facilities downstairs were still open. The bed was so comfortable! No noise despite being right next to the M4. In the morning, the checkout was completed in a quick and friendly manner. This hotel was exactly what we needed, ideal for anyone and anything. Would use again for sure
